2014 International Kontinent Awards - Official Selection

I am thrilled to announce that I was awarded an "Official Selection" distinction at the International Kontinent Awards that took place in August. Although it was not a winning photo, the official selection designation signifies that it was a short-listed work; it was among the highest scoring entries of the thousands entered.  I feel truly honored.

Below is the image that earned the distinction. It was taken from a zodiac in Antarctica in December, 2010, and it is available for commercial and editorial licensing at Gallery Stock.

I feel so fortunate to be returning to this area to observe and photograph in December of 2015!
