Happy New Year

I would like to start this new year off with a portrait of my mother.  She has a lot to celebrate this year: a Pushcart Prize nomination, a book publication deal, and the launch of her new website, www.luciamaypoet.com.  I could not be more proud of her!

I photographed her new head shot while I was in Minnesota visiting for the holidays.  Isn't she stunning?
