LATAM Airlines Advertising Campaign
It is always such a bizarre feeling to discover one of my photos in an advertisement because it is being advertised to me. It has happened a few times where a company or magazine that I subscribe to publishes my photo as part of an article or commercial promotion, and I see the final product for the first time as a recipient. I enjoy the synergy that the companies for whom I am advertising are actually companies whose products I either use or businesses for whom I fit their target demographic.
Most recently, LATAM Airlines, the merged group comprised of the former LAN and TAM Airlines has used a few of my photos of Torres del Paine National Park to advertise their new routes to southern Chile. I saw the final product for the first time as an advertisement on Facebook. The first photo above was taken at Glacier Grey. I'll never forget the day I took that photo because the boat ride out to the glacier ended up being an unexpected highlight of the trip. The second photo above was featured earlier this year.
Torres del Paine is one of the most spectacular places on Earth.
