Top Shot Feature on Viewbug

I’m happy to share that my penguin photo entitled “Love” has been selected by ViewBug for a Top Shot award! What a welcome surprise! The photo was taken from a zodiac off of the Antarctic Peninsula in 2015. Indeed I was supposed to return this past winter to circumnavigate the Continent, but the plans were canceled due to Covid concerns (and rightfully so).

It has been a much slower year due to the pandemic, but things are looking brighter as I am now fully vaccinated and starting to make plans for the rest of the year. Very slowly, we are transitioning to a more normal, or hybrid-normal lifestyle. I will be sharing new work in the early-to-mid summer timeframe.
