Mystic Sea Nettles

With some extra time in between jobs and trips, I am spending the greater part of this month with my husband and daughter traveling to see my family in other parts of the country.  This past weekend, we were in Rhode Island visiting my mom and step-dad, who moved there from Minnesota just last year.  Since they are new to the area, it worked out perfectly for us to visit some of the local attractions all together.  My daughter was interested in the Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut, so there we went.  I'm so glad I brought my camera, because they have a magnificent tank of Southern Sea Nettles, beautifully lit with pink and red lighting.  I was transfixed as I watched them pulse back and forth.
