2014 WPPI 16x20 Print Competition
This year, the WPPI association completely overhauled their 16x20 print competition. I was unable to attend the show this year, but I was just informed of the results. Three of my images earned accolades and my average score has improved from last year. Two of these were just one point short of my "silver distinction" goal, which is frustrating but confirms to me that my goal is definitely within reach for next year. As the photo above was entered into the brand-new "In-camera Artistry" category for un-manipulated raw digital images (straight out of the camera, no retouching), I had no idea going into the competition how it would do. The two images below were prints. All were taken in Colorado in October 2013.
